Kissling safety switches (Kissling Series 24) will break the current instantly by manual activation. The use of Kissling safety switches allows increased safety factors in field installations with the current circuit being closed by pulling the red knob.
In an emergency the current circuit can be isolated by force when pressing the operating knob. The internal Kissling switching mechanism self-activates automatically until completion.
